And why stop at sugar—this lidded bowl is perfect for jam or sauces, or to hold anything from cotton balls to paper clips. With a subtle jewel-tone palette woven by an artisan’s brush through the glossy, hand-painted, high-contrast checks, we’ve yet to find a color (or food!) that doesn’t look good with Courtly Check.

Materials
Heavy-gauge, hand-glazed steel underbody with hand-painted Courtly Checks, rimmed in bronzed stainless steel. Lid is topped with a faux-cinnabar bead and brass hardware. Pieces may vary due to the handmade nature of each product. Imported.
Care & Use
Hand-wash with mild soap and dry immediately. Our enamelware exceeds both federal food safety regulations and California's Proposition 65, the strictest environmental safety standards in the U.S. Handle enamelware with care, and discontinue use for food service if it becomes chipped, cracked, or broken.
